As we approach Christmas its important to make time for some sight fishing after what we Norwegians refer to as Christmas-Cod. Many Norwegians have cod for dinner at Christmas eve, hence the nickname.
On todays trip I brought my Steffen #5-6, a rod I have becomed very fond of.
On theese clear, crispy december days without any wind, you can normally have fun fishing after cod on the hunt for food on very shallow water, we are talking about 1ft of water.
Today I found 5 nice cods, and cought two of them.
The biggest got away ( funny, its usually like that...).
I took a couple of photos of the largest cod as its swimming towards me.
I guess this one would weigh in at about 13 lb
